About: It was in 2008 that I first discovered and fell in love with Latin America and its amazing people, cultures and languages. I have a MA in Translation Studies and have been working as a Spanish-English translator for 12 years. I volunteer with LAS Translations because I have seen, through my own research and experience, the transformative power of translation - for example, having access to translation can be the difference between an organization securing funding to continue their work or not. Volunteering with LAS Translations allows me to support causes that are important to me and to work on interesting and varied texts! I also love travelling, hiking, Mexican food and dogs! :)
